Using a Cricut Maker with Polymer Clay tutorial
Regular price $25.00This tutorial will show you the creative freedom a Cricut Maker can give you when using polymer clay. If you want a new stencil, template or texture sheet, you can make it. It will be the exact size, shape and design you want and unique to you.
In this 34 page PDF tutorial full of photos and detailed descriptions, you’ll learn how to create the art needed by the Cricut Maker and how to cut and deboss step-by-step. It also shows how to make silk screens, masking materials, hollow forms, rubber stamps and more.
The Cricut Maker is more accurate than cutting or drawing by hand. It's also a time-saver if you need to produce multiple identical pieces.
The tutorial includes the specific settings I've found work best to cut raw and baked polymer and other materials such as window cling, neoprene, plastic stencils and Siser Brick HTV. It also includes an extensive list of other Cricut Maker settings.
The settings in this tutorial are specific to the Cricut Maker, however the ideas included can be used on other machines. If your machine isn't able to cut through thick, hard material such as baked polymer, you should still be able to make everything else in this tutorial. If you don't have a machine, this tutorial can help you to decide if it's worth investing in one.
